Audiobus 3 realizes complex MIDI routings in an easy and intuitive way. Musicians can route MIDI from app to app, but also from Hardware to Hardware. The combination of MIDI hardware and Music apps has never been simpler. In this talk I’m going to show how musicians can map multiple split zones of a master keyboard to different synth apps. Furthermore I’m going to show how to route MIDI controller apps to different sounds of a multitimbral synth. I’m also going to explain the concept of deactivating Local ON in your synthesizer to insert music app based MIDI effects into the processing chain of a hardware synth. Bring your own MIDI hardware to the session and we’ll try to include it in the setup.
