When writing music, the outcome is often restrained by the musical knowledge the composer has internalized well enough to be accessible in his individual workflow.

The app Klimper addresses to overcome those restraints by integrating music theory into a sequencer, providing tools for harmonization as well as visual hints to support part writing tasks, for example.

In this session, I will discuss the underlying concepts and demonstrate how Klimper supports an intuitive songwriting workflow.
