Terhi Romu works since November 2016 as music educator in the Elbphilharmonie, where she is responsible for the various workshops for school classes.

During her music education studies at the university Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, which are specific practically orientated in Finland, she had the possibility to become acquainted with a wide range of musical instruments. Terhi’s long-term experience as instrument pedagogue at the East Helsinki Music Institute gave her capability to lead a wide range of education projects. She also has a second master’s degree in Music Performance with accordion. In addition Terhi has had invitations for lecturing about culture mediation and music education and has regularly participated in further training within these domains.

The past three years Terhi has been developing and starting an online platform Music Drive-In for music teachers in Finland.
